Somehow, the most dominant offense in MLB went limp in the last two games. Despite getting stellar pitching performances from both
Eduardo Rodriguez and
Drew Pomeranz, Boston had nothing to show for those efforts. Yesterday, they were stymied by (seemingly) 85-year old
Edwin Jackson in a 2-1 defeat. Only
Hanley Ramirez (3 hits) and
Chris Young (HR) were able to figure out Jackson. Boston muffed an opportunity to regain a share of first place with the loss.
