The Bronx Embalmers finally won a game in Canada—scoring five times in the ninth to
beat the Blue Jays, 7-5. The win reduced Boston's
Magic Number to clinch the division down to one. The game included two bench-clearing brawls—and an "in-your-face" bat-flip by
Mark Teixeira after a game-tying HR. Of course, the Blue Jays are well known for their showmanship, so sticking it to
Jose Bautista and his crew is justified. As stated by
Chase Headley,
"They certainly have no shortage of emotion and, if you play like that, you've got to expect to get some it back." The Red Sox take on
The Evil Ones in a three-game series beginning tonight at
The Concrete Bunker On 161st Street. Let's clinch it
there.
