OK, this can only happen to the Red Sox. Hours before the gates open at Fenway Park for tonight's game,
the team has cancelled a David Ortiz Bobblehead giveaway. Why? According to the official team release:
"The bobbleheads were unacceptable to the club and not appropriate for distribution." What? They just found this out this afternoon? Something is rotten on Yawkey Way! Of course, now the online rumor mill is on hyperdrive to try to figure out what could
possibly be "inappropriate" about a bobblehead—
enough to ban its distribution? Let your imagination run wild! Ours is!
