Brian Johnson had been rated as one of the Red Sox organization's top pitching prospects. Johnson returned from the TIA (Temporary Inactive) list and pitched a gem for the AAA PawSox last night. He went six shutout innings—
yielding just four hits while striking out five in an eventual 1-0 win for Pawtucket over the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. If Johnson—who is still ranked as the team's 7th best overall prospect—can regain his earlier form, he could be the next in line to ascend into the Red Sox rotation. Stay tuned!
