FenwayNation Poll shows that a plurality of readers (42%) favor out-right releasing bedeviled pitcher
Clay Buchholz, while just about one-third (32%) prefer trading the tall Texas righty. About one voter in seven (14%) think sending Buchholz to AAA Pawtucket, while almost one in ten (8%) think the bullpen is the best spot for Clay. Amazingly, 4% think Buchholz should actually
remain in the Red Sox starting rotation. The number of early votes to this poll (just posted late this morning) indicates the intensity of the issue among the fan base. We will keep this poll up and live during the holiday weekend, so if you haven't voted yet, you can do so
