Well, it was a lousy June for your
2016 Carmine Hose. But, a
few players still had stellar months. One of those was
FenwayNation's June Player Of The Month—
Xander Bogaerts. During June, Xander hit .324 with a .377 OBP. He knocked out 34 hits during the month—including three HRs—and also collected twenty RBIs and three stolen bases. His 17 runs scored trailed only
Mookie Betts—who had 18. There were several other deserving candidates—
David Ortiz,
Steven Wright, even
Sandy Leon—but Bogaerts showed up every day and delivered on the most consistent basis. Congrats to Xander, our
June Player Of The Month!
