Mike Miller |
The Red Sox have made the somewhat baffling move of promoting
infielder Mike Miller from AAA Pawtucket to the 40-man roster. In a corresponding move, they sent recently-promoted pitcher
William Cuevas back down to Rhode Island. This
kind of makes sense in a convoluted sort of way, since infielder
Deven Marrero was sent down to bring up Cuevas. Got it? Neither do we! Miller has played shortstop and third base for the PawSox and is hitting .256 in 46 games this season. He has no HRs and 10 RBIs over 160 at-bats. Anyway, hopefully,
Brock Holt will be back and healthy
very soon, so
'Miller Time' will be relatively short in Boston.
