If you have the MLB.TV package,
it might be fun to watch a pitcher who could be coming to Fenway soon: Atlanta's
Julio Teheran (
FSSO-HD; SNLA-HD). In May, Teheran's 1.38 ERA was surpassed by only two guys in all of major league baseball:
Clayton Kershaw and
Madison Bumgarner. You may have heard of them. The Braves, of course, have given Teheran almost no run support this year (2.50 runs per game—among the worst in the majors), so his record (1-5) belies his effectiveness ( 2.77 ERA). While Teheran has had bad luck against
The Denizens Of Chavez Ravine, he
might actually get some runs to work with tonight. And, who knows? He might be on
Yawkey Way soon!
