a 6-4 win over Toronto.
Xander Bogaerts collected three more hits and raised his average to an astounding .350.
Travis Shaw (2 hits) and
Blake Swihart knocked in a run each. Swihart had to leave the game with an injured left ankle after crashing into the left field wall going after a foul pop. Boston at least temporarily reclaimed sole possession of first place with the victory.
The Carmine Hose have yet to lose four consecutive games in 2016—and today's win continued that.
