FenwayNation was thrilled to assist in the nomination process for the
second annual Globie Awards—presented by the
Boston Globe's Sports Editorial Team. A special thanks to Globe editors
Joe Sullivan and
Matt Pepin for providing the setting for the session—which was held before last night's Red Sox game at Fenway Park. The Globe will announce the list of
nominees in mid-July, in categories such as:
Social Media Star;
Unsung Hero;
Athlete Of The Year—as well MVP nominees for all five professional sports teams. Results of the
winners in each category will be announced in the Fall. Fans will have a chance to cast their votes for the winners online. Again, thanks to the Globe's Sports Editorial Team!
