Quinnipiac University Poll show that
residents of The Nutmeg State pick the The Bronx Embalmers over the Red Sox as their favorite team by a 44%-36% margin. This represents the biggest lead by
The Evil Ones over
The Carmine Hose in 11 years worth of polling. The survey was conducted among the half of Connecticut adults who say they are "very interested" or "somewhat interested" in MLB. The other half of Connecticut residents are waiting for the Whalers to return to Hartford (that's just our wisecrack,
not from the poll). The highly respected poll was conducted June 1 - 5, among 1,467 Connecticut adults with a margin of error of +/- 2.6 percentage points.
