Chris Young's Hamstring Injury "Worse" Than Thought
Stop us if you've heard this before. Red Sox manager John Farrell announced that—after an MRI—Chris Young's hamstring injury is "worse" than the team expected. Gee, you mean the "initial diagnosis" of the injury by Doctor Howard, Doctor Fine and Doctor Howard was too optimistic? No! Really? Look for Dave Dombrowski to either seek a trade for a short-contract outfielder (think Ichiro Suzuki, Wil Myers or Josh Reddick) or take the plunge and bring up Andrew Benintendi (which would be ill-advised) or Yoan Moncanda (which would be slightly more more advised). Stay tuned, sports fans!
