Call them the
'Donald Thumps'. You know how a certain presidential candidate says,
"We're going to win so much, you'll get tired of winning"? Well, that's how it's starting to feel around old Fenway Park. Boston put up
another double-digit run tally,
thrashing Colorado, 10-3. Both
Jackie Bradley, Jr. (29 games) and
Xander Bogaerts (18 games) extended their hitting streaks—and even
Blake Swihart got in on the action by clouting
two triples.
The Carmine Hose were trailing 2-0 until 'Bogie' launched a towering HR to left to cut the deficit in half. From there, it was "Katy-Bar-The-Door".
Steven Wright finally got some run support and went seven solid innings for his fourth win of the year. A very satisfying—and increasingly typical—win.
