The Red Sox will take on
The Bronx Embalmers tonight in the first of a three-game set—
assuming the weather holds in the lovely Bronx section of the city. Latest estimates are pretty dicey throughout the night—with rain probabilities at about 47% at game time. More than likely, the 'powers that be' will try to
somehow wedge this game in—so long delays are
extremely likely. Unfortunately, this could mean further work for a tired Red Sox bullpen—which had to deliver six innings just last night. In any event, this series has none of the panache of previous Sox-Empire match-ups—with
The Pinstriped Posers firmly ensconced in last place in the AL East.
