Jeter On 'Late Night With Seth Meyers' |
Yankee legend
Derek Jeter appeared on (Red Sox fan) Seth Meyers' TV show last night and made an interesting observation. It seems life has gotten a lot better for
Number Two since
The Carmine Hose broke the "curse" in 2004. Since that time, Jeter has found that Red Sox fans have "softened up" in their encounters with him off the field. He explained as follows, "
I'm not happy you won, but you treat me a lot better now." Of course, one thing we
can't forget (or forgive) is that he got his final MLB hit against the Red Sox. In general, though, he's OK. Sort of.
