actually have injured his left shoulder—and is possibly
not simply suffering from the phantom "Fenway Flu". According to multiple reports, the Red Sox third baseman may be seeking a second opinion after
an MRI indicated the possible need for shoulder surgery. If these reports are true, it would belie any conspiracy theories (including our own) that the DL stint was just an excuse for punishing the overweight and under-performing
