The Red Sox got a decent 2-inning start from
Rick Porcello (although he was hit hard
several times) and hung on for
a 6-5 squeaker over the ever-present Twinkies.
Travis Shaw kept up his hot start—going 2-2 with a walk.
Allen Craig continued to be "showcased" in the line-up and responded by delivering a 1-3 night with an RBI. Look for Craig to get even more playing time and be dealt before camp breaks.
Brennan "The Sparkplug" Boesch went 1-3 with an RBI.
