In an interview with
WCVB-TV's Maria Stephanos,
David Ortiz hinted that he'd like to stick around Boston after he retires. Asked if he would work for the Red Sox,
Big Papi replied,
"Probably. Who knows? It all depends, I’m not the owner. I’m just an employee." Something tells us the NOG will be more than happy to employ their greatest clutch hitter ever in
some capacity. And, how would he like his final game ever to end? That's easy:
"Hopefully my last game goes like this: Two outs, bottom of the ninth, Fenway Park, Kimbrel pitching, strikeout, we win the World Series. That is what I want in my last game." From his lips.........
