The Jimmy Fund and
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute announced today that Boston Red Sox infielder
Brock Holt and third baseman
Pablo Sandoval will continue to serve as
Jimmy Fund Co-Captains for the 2016 baseball season. Said Holt,
"One of the highlights of my time in Boston has been meeting Dana-Farber patients and helping raise cancer awareness, and I look forward to doing more for the organization this year as a Jimmy Fund Co-Captain." The Panda chimed in as well,
"I am honored to continue on as a Jimmy Fund Co-Captain this season, I am proud to support the critical work in cancer care and research at Dana-Farber." Holt and Sandoval follow in the great tradition of past Co-Captains including
Clay Buchholz,
Tim Wakefield,
Daniel Bard,
Jarrod Saltalamacchia,
Will Middlebrooks and
David Ross.
