In his first exposure to the Red Sox-Yankee rivalry,
David Price handled himself pretty well. The lefty ace went four innings, giving up just one run (a solo HR), while striking out six
Bronx Embalmers. The game was tied 1-1 until the eighth, when Sox reliever
Robbie Ross coughed up five runs.
The Pinstriped Posers went on to win, 6-3. Said Price of the rivalry,
"It'll be intense. It's definitely going to be the biggest rivalry I've ever been a part of. I'm looking forward to it. It's going to be 18, 19 games of good baseball." Tonight,
The Carmine Hose take on—
wait for it—the Twinkies!
