The Texas
Rangers may be prepared to offer former Red Sox playoff hero Shane Victorino a minor-league contract. The 35-year old Victorino has played 12 seasons in the major leagues, compiling a .275 batting average and a .340 OBP. He hit .282 in three years with the Red Sox.
The Flyin' Hawaiian's 7th-inning Grand Slam in Game Six of the 2013 ALCS will long be remembered by Boston fans. We wish him the best if he should hook on with the Rangers.
