Daniel Nava may be getting more playing time this year than most expected. Signed by the Angels last December ($1.375 million, one-year), it looked like Nava would simply be outfield insurance at the AAA level. Now, it appears that the just-turned 33-year old will get pretty significant time platooning in left-field with
Craig Gentry. As we all know, the switch-hitting Nava has done well against right-handed pitching in his career (.281) and has also had a penchant for the big hit.
