(NESN) will broadcast 16 Red Sox Grapefruit League games in 2016. The schedule begins on February 29th with a double-header against the
Northeastern University Huskies and another school located somewhere in Chestnut Hill. In a shocking departure from past years, there will be
only two televised games against the Minnesota Twins.
Al Franken could not be reached for comment. Other interesting televised tilts include: March 5th against
The Evil Empire; March 12th against the Miami Marlins; March 15th against
The Bronx Embalmers; March 20th against the Metropolitans; and two final games (April 1st and 2nd) in Toronto against the reigning AL East Champion Blue Jays.
