According to multiple media reports, the Red Sox are prepared—if necessary—to outbid the competition for David Price by a margin of $30-$40 million. This astounding willingness to over-spend for Price is indicative of how desperate Boston is for a legitimate ace at the top of their rotation. As credible a source as Hall Of Fame writer Peter Gammons quoted an NL GM making reference to that "price for price margin". Is the 30-year old lefty "over-Priced"?
