Two of the last decade's most influential Red Sox minds are now in control of the AAA PawSox.
Joining new PawSox Chairman Larry Luchhino will be his long-time colleague Dr. Charles Steinberg—in the role of club President. Lucchino and Steinberg have blazed baseball trails in Baltimore, San Diego and Boston and now join forces to give a new look (and maybe a new ballpark) to the Red Sox top minor league franchise. Steinberg (known affectionately by some as
'The Mad Dentist') is renowned for his PR expertise. He's been the brains behind the countless on-field extravaganzas we've all witnessed since the NOG took power in 2002. Also joining Lucchino in Pawtucket will be new General Manager
Dan Rea III (son of WBZ Radio talkmaster
Dan Rea). This has got to be one of the most talent-laden minor league management teams in all of baseball.
