Pete Rose in a post-game interview,
"...if there's been a better game, I'd like to know what it was. I really enjoyed playing in that game. They'll be talking about it for years to come." Alas, the Reds came back to overcome a 3-0 deficit in Game Seven and win the Series 4 games to 3. But, up until 2004, the Fisk shot was the proudest moment in Red Sox history.
