Henry Owens looked overmatched—going just 4 1/3 innings and giving up seven earned runs. Boston's only offense came from
David Ortiz's two-run HR—his 37th on the year and 503rd of his career.
Xander Bogaerts—who scored ahead of Ortiz on the HR—got one hit. That leaves him five shy of the 200-hit mark—with probably eight more at-bats in the season.
