When one of the
previously strongest links in a weak bullpen is no longer strong, you've got a
real relief pitching problem. Such is the case with the Red Sox—where over-used
Junichi Tazawa coughed up another loss in last night's
8-4 defeat at The MostPulpDome. Tazawa pitched one-third of an inning and gave up
four earned runs—wiping out a 4-3 Boston lead.
Xander Bogaerts,
David Ortiz,
Travis Shaw and
Pablo Sandoval all had multiple hit games in yet another excruciating, unacceptable loss.
