Your humble scribe had the amazing opportunity tonight to spend an inning inside the famous Green Monster scoreboard at Fenway Park. In addition to the thrill of sliding a yellow number "1" digit onto the board when the Sox scored in the fifth inning, it was a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at how three very talented guys manage to keep us all informed about balls, strikes, runs, hits, errors (
and out-of-town scores). It's a well-oiled machine of information-sharing in
