Believe it or not, there was a point in this game when the score was tied 4-4. Then, the "mighty" Marlins erupted for
ten runs in the sixth inning—paced by rookie catcher
J.T. Realmuto's grand slam. Realmuto drove in six runs on the day in
the eventual 14-6 laugher. No wonder they released
Jarrod Saltalamacchia! In any event,
David Ortiz clouted two more HRs (490, 491)—puting him him just nine shy of the magic 500-mark.
Eduardo Rodriguez,
Ryan Cook and
Robbie Ross Jr. took the brunt of the Miami barrage, but the bottom line is this was yet another stinker in a long line of 2015 stinkers. Change needs to happen—and
soon!
