The Red Sox mustered just six hits off the Indians stater, and
Travis Shaw collected both RBIs in Boston
8-2 sleepwalking loss to the Tribe on Monday night.
Matt Barnes made his first MLB start for
The Carmine Hose, and gave up six runs in five innings—despite showing good stuff and striking out seven. He also kept the Indians hitless through 3.1 innings.
Mookie Betts—of course—made another spectacular catch in center field. But, in the end, sloppy play and clutch hitting by Cleveland put an early end to Barnes' night and that of the Red Sox.
