As we have often said, this game of baseball will present you with something new
every night. And, sure enough, last night, the sport again lived up to that maxim—
big time. For the first time in Major League Baseball history,
all fifteen home teams won on the same day. Think about that—the odds against it are 32,768 to 1. Down through the decades, the closest home teams came to victorious unanimity was when twelve of them won on May 23, 1914. So,
last night, was the first time
all 15 MLB home teams have won on the same date. Weird.
