Unlike the famous scene from
'Apocalypse Now!', Wagner's '
Ride of the Valkyries' was
not blaring from the helicopter hovering over
'The Big A' in Anaheim today. That's right, a
helicopter! Apparently, the drainage system at the field is so archaic that a police helicopter was needed to help dry off the outfield before today's game with the Sox. Aren't they supposed to be in the middle of a
drought?
