The US Olympic Committee today pulled their support for Boston's bid to host the 2024 Summer Olympics. Millions of commuters in the Greater Boston area gave out a collective sigh of relief—as now we'll only need to contend with
normal gridlock. The bid never really got traction from the public—which was apparently part of the reason that the bid was pulled.
