Say it ain't so, Stan! It looks as if the 'goody-two-shoes' image of the St. Louis Cardinals organization might be in jeopardy. According to the
New York Times, the FBI is investigating
whether the Cardinals "hacked" into the the internal data networks of the Houston Astros. The alleged goal of the Watergate-like intrusion was to
"steal closely-guarded information about player personnel". Current Astros GM
Jeff Luhnow used to be a high-ranking member of the Cardinals front office—helping build one of the best farm systems in the major leagues. But, what the heck were the Cardinals thinking? Are they
really threatened by a team in another league? Our question is simple: What did St. Louis GM
John Mozeliak know—and when did he know it?
