Something had to happen. The Red Sox have essentially benched
David Ortiz and
Pablo Sandoval tonight against Oakland left-hander
Scott Kazmir. Both have struggled mightily against lefties this season, so this is an eminently good move. We'll see how it plays in the clubhouse. Anyway, tonight's Sox lineup is:
