The Red Sox will
replace fired pitching coach Juan Nieves with Carl Willis. Willis is expected to be with the team in Toronto on Saturday. Willis has previously been pitching coach for the Seattle Mariners (2010-2013). Most recently, he was the pitching coach for the Columbus Clippers—the AAA affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. As a player, he won a World Series ring in 1991 with the Twinkies.
