Get ready for the
Wade Miley/
Miley Cyrus jokes. The quick-working—or maybe quick-"
twerking" (hat-tip to
@redsoxmonster)—Red Sox lefty went a "robust" 2 1/3 innings today—yielding
seven earned runs on five hits and three walks. Not surprisingly,
Boston lost the rubber game to "the franchise formerly known as the Expos", 10-5. After falling behind 2-0 early,
The Carmine Hose made another comeback against the pathetic Nats defense to tie the game at two apiece. But it was to no avail as Miley had
nothing—not unlike
Justin Masterson last night.
Dustin Pedroia got two more hits on the day (he's now hitting .300) and
Hanley Ramriez hit a two-run HR (his fourth). Of course,
Brock Holt had a hit and an RBI (he's now hitting .533). Other than that, it was a dismal day at the old ball-yard.
