One of the most iconic restaurants nearby Fenway Park has closed.
'Jerry Remy's'—owned by former Red Sox player and current broadcaster Jerry Remy—has shut down permanently after the establishment's landlord refused to renew the lease. '
Remy's' has been an extremely popular hangout for fans before and after games—particularly in the rooftop dining area that offers views of the ballpark's exterior. Other locations of the restaurant—Logan Airport, Boston's Seaport District and Fall River (Remy's home area) are unaffected by the Fenway-area closing.
