So far,
Rick Porcello has performed well in a Red Sox uniform. Don't get too comfortable with that idea, though, as
the 26-year old righty is likely headed to free agency after the season. According to
The Providence Journal's Brian MacPherson, Porcello hasn't had any contract extension talks with
The Carmine Hose—
and doesn't expect to have any. Thus, it seems Porcello is intent on testing free agency at the end of the year—meaning we tossed away
Yoenis Cespedes for one year of Mr. Porcello. Let's hope it's a good year.
