Ryan Lavarnway must view a major league uniform the way he used view New England weather: if you don't like it, wait a minute. The former Red Sox catcher has now been released by
four teams since November. On Friday,
he was designated for assignment by the Baltimore Orioles to continue his insane trek through the rosters of the MLB. Since around Thanksgiving, he's been let go by Boston, the Dodgers, the Cubs and the Orioles. Four down, 26 to go! Could the Hiroshima Toyo Carp be far behind?
