Did you
really think that
Pedro Martinez's entry into the
Hall Of Fame would be a smooth one? The former Red Sox ace put the issue to rest yesterday
during an interview on New York television. Pedro made it clear that he still holds a grudge against former Yankee catcher
Jorge Posada. The reason? For making a comment about Pedro's mother. Said Martinez,
"Between Latinos you don’t mention anybody’s mother. And I never forgot that one. To this day." Apparently, Posada's remark came in the wake of the famous 2003 take-down of Yankee coach (and former Red Sox manager)
Don Zimmer.
