With apologies to Mr.
Tony Bennett, we must report that,
while Pablo Sandoval did not leave his heart in San Francisco, he did leave some cash on the table there. Appearing on
MLB Network Radio today, The Panda stated,
"I left more money out there. I didn't let the Giants make the final offer. I just wanted to get out and try new things, try a new challenge. I just want to be a part of a new challenge." More tantalizingly, when asked if the re-tooled Red Sox would win the AL East, Sandoval responded,
"We will".
The Panda is nothing if not concise.
