At 2 PM tomorrow, Major League Baseball will announce the 2015 Hall Of Fame Class. By our reckoning, there will be four new inductees:
Pedro Martinez,
Randy Johnson,
John Smoltz and
Craig Biggio. Pedro and
The Big Unit are first-ballot locks—while Smoltz (who was briefly a Red Sox hurler) should also make it through. Biggio missed induction last year by two votes—and may suffer that fate again with a similar crowded field. More likely, he will muster just enough ballots this time to make it in. So, four on the podium in July—with Pedro the class of the class!
