According to Jayson Stark of
ESPN.com, the Red Sox and Tigers have the
parameters of a
Yoenis Cespedes for
Rick Porcello deal worked out—except for one thing. That 'thing' is that
Detroit wants to widen the deal so that they get a starter back in the package. It's unclear what that wider deal would net for Boston, but the Red Sox obviously have a bevy of young starters to offer the Tigers.
Matt Barnes,
Anthony Ranaudo or
Allen Webster could be added into the mix, but, again, who the
fourth player would be coming back to Boston is unclear. Hey, how about
Jose Iglesias?
