According to
ESPNBoston.com's Gordon Edes,
when asked if the Red Sox were still in on Jon Lester, a team official replied "No comment". Clearly, this is
not a good sign. Look for San Francisco or the Cubs to land the erstwhile Boston lefty tonight or tomorrow. And, in our opinion, look for a trade for
Cole Hamels as a quick fallback to a failure on Lester. Stay tuned.
