Allen Craig used to be one of the best hitters in the National League. His availability in the 2013 World Series against the Red Sox was supposed to a major factor in that
Fall Classic. Then, after a poor start to 2014 (due to lingering injuries), Craig got traded to the Red Sox with
Joe Kelley. His awful season continued and he ended up hitting just .215 for the year. Nevertheless,
both the Miami Marlins and the Milwaukee Brewers are seeking a trade for Craig. The Marlins are looking to put him at first base, while the Brewers want to platoon him there with
Adam Lind.
