TV Host Bob Neumeier Recovering From Stroke
Last Friday, long-time Boston TV sports personality Bob Neumeier suffered a stroke. After surgery, he is recovering in the hospital amid positive signs of improvement. Neumeier is remembered by many as sports anchor for years on WBZ-TV, Channel 4 in Boston. He was also a co-host with Dale Arnold on WEEI radio's Dale & Neumy show. More recently, he has been a staple of Comcast SportsNet New England—hosting various shows including the highly popular weekly program, The Baseball Show. Considered an expert on horse racing, he also regularly covers the ponies for NBC Sports. Neumeier is a legend on the local sports scene—always unafraid to express his views. We wish Bob a very speedy recovery—in plenty of time to re-join The Baseball Show in the Spring.
