Did you really expect anything different? The Orioles have been living the
"Charm City" life all year—much like the Red Sox did last year. So, for them to sweep the woefully inept Red Sox at Fenway is really no surprise. Today, they completed the sweep with
a 10-6 thrashing that was
way worse than the final score might indicate. Boston scored five runs in the ninth in a feeble attempt to look competitive.
Brandon Workman was awful again—going just three innings and giving up five earned runs.
Xander Bogaerts knocked out his 11th HR and 26-year old "rookie"
Carlos Rivero hit his first major league HR for The Carmine Hose.
Dan Bulter also had three hits.
