Saturday, they blew
one three-run lead; so on Sunday, they blew
two. That's the kind of progress we've come to expect from the
2014 Carmine Hose. Of course, ex-Sox
Stephen Drew was the offensive stud for
The Bronx Embalmers, getting a pair of hits and
four RBIs in
the 8-7 loss. More importantly,
Clay Buchholz (our new 'ace') was bad again—coughing up those two three-run leads and generally being the polar opposite of the guy we saw at the start of the 2013 season. Take heart, Sox fans—they're
off tonight.
